Job Summary

  • Manage the full development lifecycle spanning requirements gathering solution design build testing deployment and ongoing maintenance
  • Interpret government procurement policy and guide application teams on aligning system needs with policy obligations
  • Drive project execution to fulfil business objectives within agreed cost timeline and quality parameters
  • Build and maintain a master project schedule monitoring milestones and addressing risks that may impact delivery timelines
  • Construct and govern a detailed project budget tracking spend highlighting variances securing approvals for adjustments and issuing periodic budget reports
  • Run regular project updates and steering committee briefings to keep stakeholders aligned on status pending decisions and upcoming activities
  • Spot project risks along with their organisational impact and propose mitigation measures to keep exposure in check
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding of outsourced vendors and co-sourcing teams while applying billing templates and validation tools to uphold billing governance
  • Draft contract renewals and related paperwork then engage vendors and partners to deliver ICT solutions and services
  • Apply IT management policy and security guidelines so that development processes procedures and systems remain compliant


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience ideally within IT or digital transformation initiatives
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMP or Agile hands-on use of Confluence and JIRA familiarity with Government IM on Procurement and a solid grasp of the government ICT environment ICT procurement and contract management practices
  • Exposure to IT risk assessment and compliance activities with the ability to synthesise multiple information streams into a cohesive whole; public sector or change management/training delivery experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills balancing analytical and people-oriented perspectives paired with a self-motivated team-player mindset
