Job Summary
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Bosch for a fulfilling internship opportunity! This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a corporate environment allowing you to contribute to ongoing projects while learning from experienced professionals. As a Intern AI HVAC Research you will support the operations and learning initiatives in collaboration with experienced team members.
What you will do (Key Responsibilities)
- Investigate state-of-the-art methods in Machine Learning Deep Learning and Edge AI for embedded deployment on microcontrollers
- Conduct technical discussions to understand HVAC system behavior and refrigeration cycle fundamentals
- Collect data from HVAC simulation models preprocess datasets and train machine learning models for anomaly prediction
- Develop embedded firmware in C to interface with AC control boards via communication protocols such as Modbus RS485 and UART
- Deploy and validate machine learning models on ESP32-like devices using Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and benchmark prediction accuracy
- Prepare project updates and presentations for stakeholders
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Able to work full time for a period of 6 months (Aug 2026 onwards)
- Undergraduate or graduate studies in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Artificial Intelligence or related field
- Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Proficiency in Python and C/C with knowledge of coding best practices
- Experience with microcontrollers or embedded systems (ESP32 Arduino or STM32 preferred) including serial communication protocols such as UART RS485 or Modbus
- Strong problem-solving skills self-motivation and effective communication and presentation abilities
