HR INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern to provide cross-market administrative support across our Singapore Malaysia and Thailand operations with ad hoc support for our India team as needed. You will play an integral part in keeping our HR operations running smoothly taking ownership of day-to-day administrative tasks and contributing across a broad range of HR activities.
You will sit within a lean collaborative HR team and gain exposure to multi-market HR operations across Southeast Asia and India employee lifecycle processes and regional stakeholder management making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation in HR.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Administration & Reporting
Prepare track and file HR documents including offer letters contracts and onboarding/offboarding checklists
Maintain and update employee records across HR systems ensuring data accuracy across SG MY and TH markets
Support the coordination of employee lifecycle processes onboarding probation confirmations transfers and exits
Assist with preparation of internal communication HR Reports MOM surveys dashboards and trackers as required by HRBPs
Shared Services & Operations Support
Support the HR Executive in managing SSC-related administrative tasks including preparing documentation tracking and following up on requests
Support the HR Executive in tracking and following up on operational HR matters (e.g. payroll inputs benefit enrolments leave records)
Coordinate responses to standard employee queries on HR policies and direct escalations to the relevant HRBP
Supporting coordination with the Finance team to provide accurate HR data for employee-related payments (e.g. cost centre allocation)
Cross-Market Coordination
Provide administrative support to the Malaysia and Thailand HRBPs and the Singapore HR lead including scheduling document preparation and meeting coordination
Assist with ad hoc HR admin requests from the India market on an as-needed basis ensuring timely follow-through
Help track HR project milestones and action items across markets flagging any delays to the team
Assist with collating and organising materials for HR initiatives training sessions and townhalls
Employee Engagement (Execution Support)
Support the Office Manager in employee engagement activities including vendor coordination RSVPs material preparation and contributing to creative ideation
Assist with post-event follow-ups such as surveys feedback collation and attendance tracking
WHO WERE LOOKING FOR
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Strong understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR compliance
High attention to detail comfortable working with documentation and data entry
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems is an advantage
Discreet professional and able to handle sensitive and confidential information
Good to Have
Prior internship or part-time experience in an HR or admin function
Exposure to multi-country or regional HR operations
Familiarity with any Shared Services or HR operations model
