- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound outbound inventory management and order fulfilment.
- Ensure operations are executed efficiently safely and in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with company policies regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Drive productivity accuracy and cost optimization across warehouse processes.
- Act as the key point of contact for assigned customers on all operational matters.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and performance reviews.
- Understand customer requirements and ensure services are aligned to meet or exceed expectations.
- Manage and resolve customer issues escalations and service gaps in a timely manner.
- Provide operational insights and performance reports to customers.
- Lead coach and develop warehouse teams including supervisors and frontline staff.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Manage manpower planning resource allocation and workforce productivity.
- Drive staff engagement capability development and succession planning.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity accuracy turnaround time and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and present performance reports to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Ensure consistent achievement of operational and financial targets.
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Standardize workflows and implement best practices across operations.
- Support system implementations or enhancements (e.g. Warehouse Management Systems such as Blue Yonder).
- Drive automation digitalization and innovation initiatives where appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including transport planning IT and finance teams.
- Ensure alignment between warehouse operations and broader supply chain functions.
- Support business development efforts by providing operational inputs for new opportunities and solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business or a related field.
- 812 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Proven experience managing customer-facing operations in a 3PL or distribution environment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong operational and commercial mindset.
- Excellent customer management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Data-driven with strong analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
