The Finance Manager will support the Financial Controller in overseeing the companys financial reporting month-end close and finance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting strengthening finance processes and managing a team of accountants across multiple entities.
The role requires strong accounting expertise hands-on experience in financial close and audit processes and the ability to manage operational finance activities in a fast-paced fintech environment.
What You Will Do
Lead the end-to-end month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring all group financial statements are accurate and delivered on schedule.
Guarantee strict adherence to IFRS/FRS accounting standards internal policies and statutory reporting requirements across all entities.
Act as the primary liaison for external audits managing the preparation of technical accounting analyses and ensuring the timely resolution of audit queries.
Partner with Tax and Compliance teams to deliver accurate data for MAS submissions transfer pricing documentation and annual tax filings.
Manage and mentor a team of accountants fostering a culture of high performance through rigorous review of work and professional development.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and standardizing workflows to optimize closing timelines and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Product Engineering and Operations teams to strengthen financial data pipelines and ensure the accuracy of revenue and cost recognition.
Support the Financial Controller on ad-hoc projects variance analysis and financial insights to guide leadership in strategic decision-making.
What We Are Looking For
68 years of progressive experience in accounting audit or financial reporting ideally with a background in Big 4 audit or a high-growth FinTech/Tech environment.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; a professional qualification (CA CPA or ACCA) is highly preferred.
Expert knowledge of IFRS / FRS accounting standards with a proven track record of leading month-end closures and managing complex external audits.
Prior exposure topayment infrastructure FinTech platforms or Blockchain/Web3 ecosystems is a significant advantage.
High proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite Workday SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for complex financial data analysis.
Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data integrity and the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced evolving environment while maintaining a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams including Product and Engineering.
