About the opportunity
We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to design build and maintain secure scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS containerization technologies Kubernetes GitOps and DevSecOps best practices to enable secure and efficient software delivery.
Your key responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Administer and support container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (K8s) Amazon EKS or OpenShift.
- Implement GitOps practices using tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment and application issues while driving continuous improvements in platform reliability and security.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Experience level:
- Senior Associate: Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps Platform Engineering Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (K8s) Amazon EKS or OpenShift.
- Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and security best practices.
- Experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices.
- Background in Software Engineering or Platform Engineering.
- Experience with software development frameworks such as FastAPI or Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python JavaScript or Java).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience building cloud-native platforms and microservices.
- Knowledge of security scanning vulnerability management and compliance automation.
- AWS or Kubernetes certifications would be are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to design build and maintain secure scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS containerization technologies Kubernetes GitOps and DevSecOps best practices to enable secure and efficient software delivery.
