The Demand Planning Staff Analyst is responsible for developing and managing demand forecasts across Hardware Consumables and Service Parts within their assigned region.
Acting as the critical link among commercial finance and supply chain teams this role translates regional market insights into an actionable demand plan that supports revenue service-level and inventory objectives.
This is a highly collaborative role partnering closely with regional commercial leaders while driving alignment into the broader S&OP process.
This position reports to the Senior Manager Demand Planning and is part of the Global Supply Chain organization located in Singapore and will be fully remote.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Own the end-to-end regional demand plan for Hardware Consumables and Service Parts ensuring alignment to commercial outlook and financial targets
- Analyze statistical/market forecasts enriched with region-specific market intelligence and commercial inputs
- Partner with regional stakeholders (Sales Marketing Finance) to align on assumptions risks and opportunities
- Participate in and support the S&OP process ensuring clear visibility to demand drivers and variability
- Monitor and improve key KPIs including forecast accuracy (MAPE) bias service level and inventory health
- Identify root causes of forecast variation and proactively drive corrective actions
- Highlight demand risks (e.g. tenders policy shifts market volatility) and escalate with clear mitigation plans and contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning processes tools and standard work
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain business engineering statistics or related field (Masters preferred)
- 5 years of experience in demand planning supply chain or S&OP/IBP environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in forecasting tools or planning systems
- Ability to operate effectively in a regional cross-functional setting influencing without authority; strong communication skills
- Language Requirement: Fluent in both written and spoken English
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel - 10-15% overnight globally
