  • Organize and maintainCognita content toimprove accessibility andusability for theteam.
  • Document the purpose application and usageguidelines of keytemplates.
  • Identify opportunities toimprove documentation structureand knowledge sharing.

Supplier Capacity& Readiness Support

  • Support the organizationand review ofsupplier machine listsand capacity-relateddata.
  • Understand how machinecapability capacity information and MPa datacontribute to supplierreadiness assessments.
  • Assist in preparingcapacity-related documentationand reports.

Costing & CommercialUnderstanding

  • Support the maintenanceand improvement ofpart cost templates.
  • Learn key costdrivers including:
    • Material and processcosts
    • Manufacturing assumptions
    • Incoterms
    • Cost trade-offsand decision factors
  • Assist in documentingcosting approaches andbest practices.

Manufacturing Process& Tooling Knowledge

  • Review process andtooling templates tounderstand:
    • Manufacturing capabilityevaluation
    • Quality considerations
    • Process risks
    • Tooling requirements
  • Support documentation oflessons learned andreference materials.

Commodity Management Support

  • Support CM-relatedactivities through datagathering documentation and analysis.
  • Assist in preparingmaterials related tosupplier evaluation readinessreviews and projecttracking.
  • Gain exposure toCM processes andoperational requirements.
  • Processes of new supplier onboarding

Factory Transfer/ Past Factory MoveLearning (Optional Scope)

  • Support documentation andknowledge capture fromprevious factory transferactivities.
  • Review lessons learnedand key considerationsfor future factorymoves.
  • Help organize historicalproject information forfuture reference.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP usually possess:

  • Bachelor or Masters undergraduate in Industrial Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Supply Chain Management Business Analytics Data Analytics.
  • Able to commit for a 5-6 months full time internship starting in January 2027.
  • Strong documentation and knowledge management skills.
  • Data analysis Microsoft Excel Power BI & PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Interest in manufacturing operations and supplier management.
  • Basic understanding of costing and commercial concepts.
  • Process-oriented and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to organize information and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
