Job Summary

On behalf of one of its clients a dynamic and innovative Singapore-based company specialising in Building Management Systems (BMS) the French Chamber of Commerce is recruiting a BMS Service Engineer.

The company specializes in building automation and smart energy management solutions delivering projects across sectors such as real estate healthcare industrial facilities and public infrastructure. They have quickly established themselves as a disruptive force in the energy efficiency space across Singapore and South East Asia.

This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects combining automation data analytics and sustainability in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site and remote support to clients ensuring high-quality service delivery and responsiveness
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for Building Management Systems
  • Perform system checks backups troubleshooting and upgrades to ensure optimal system performance
  • Monitor and optimize system settings to improve energy efficiency and operational performance
  • Record maintenance activities and prepare detailed service reports
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors for maintenance and servicing activities
  • Support project teams with scheduling manpower planning and operational needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the project portfolio


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 23 years of experience in BMS facilities management or building services (chillers AHU FCU systems)
  • Hands-on experience with building automation and control systems
  • Basic knowledge of networking and system connectivity
  • Good knowledge of ACMV systems
  • Ability to resolve technical issues and provide effective solutions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a client-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools



Required Skills:

Bachelors Degree More than 3 years of experience in customer service Some knowledge of aircraft engines Aerospace experience will be an added advantage Highly effective communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Computer Skills Microsoft Word Excel and Powerpoint Self-starter with ability to work under pressure to deliver targets on time Cross-cultural experience and ability to work in different cultures with successful outcome Able to work independently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
