Associate Material Management (Freight, Tender & Facilities)

The successful candidate will join the material management department in SIA Engineering Division. He/she will support the freight tender and facilities administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• To maintain the filing for Material Management contracts and agreements
• To maintain and monitor lease agreement and floor plans of warehouse space on lease by SIA
• To conduct verification of space leased by SIA required by SIA Properties for audit requirements on yearly basis
• To maintain record and update asset listing
• To monitor the performance and co-ordination with the respective maintenance contractors for maintenance/ servicing/ repair of Automated Storage-Retrieval System(ASRS) in the Warehouse
• Compile and verify reports from Freight Forwarders against AWB and shipping document for monthly submission of report to Taxation for GST reporting
• To verify freight invoices
• To support Tender and RFP process and contract administration for Engineering Division and any other division as required
  

Requirements

• Possess a diploma in any discipline
• Proficient in MS Office suite of products
• Be able to engage with vendors and line engineers on the shop floor directly
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be motivated driven and be a team player and also be able to work independently
• Must be able to work under pressure
