Winder Operator – Tissue Manufacturing

We are hiring 4 Winder Operators for a tissue manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. Candidates should have 35 years of experience in tissue manufacturing preferably operating high-speed tissue rewinders at MPM with expertise in machine operations troubleshooting and quality control.

• Operate and monitor tissue rewinders to ensure efficient production.
  

• Perform machine start-ups shutdowns and grade changes according to operating procedures.
  

• Troubleshoot production issues including web breaks and sheet defects.
  

• Monitor slitter performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
  

• Monitor and adjust calender settings as required.
  

• Read process trends and identify operational deviations.
  

• Conduct quality checks and ensure products meet the required specifications.
  

• Monitor machine performance and minimize production downtime.
  

• Identify operational risks and comply with safety procedures.
  

• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
  

• Maintain operating records and follow shift handover procedures.
  

• 35 years of experience in tissue manufacturing.
  

• Experience with high-speed tissue winders operating at MPM is preferred.
  

• Technical diploma in Paper Technology or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  

• Technical experience in rewinder start-ups shutdowns grade changes and troubleshooting during production operations.
  

• Knowledge of web breaks sheet defects slitter operations and calender adjustments.
  

• Ability to read process trends and follow standard operating procedures.
  

• Experience maintaining product quality specifications and performing quality tests.
  

• Ability to identify operational risks and comply with industrial safety standards.
  

• Experience with Valmet Andritz or Toscotec rewinders is preferred.
