Job Summary

Our client is a well-established organization with a busy warehousing and distribution operation supporting customers across multiple locations. To maintain high operational standards the company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities ensure inventory accuracy and lead warehouse personnel in delivering safe and efficient operations.

The Role

The Warehouse Supervisor will manage the day-to-day warehouse operation ensuring goods are received stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with health and safety standards. This position requires a hands-on leader who can motivate warehouse teams while maintaining operational discipline and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving storage picking packing and dispatch.
  • Allocate tasks and monitor team productivity to ensure operational targets are achieved.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock verification.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely processing.
  • Enforce warehouse safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Procurement Logistics and Operations to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Train and coach warehouse personnel on operational procedures.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance requirements.
  • Prepare operational reports covering inventory productivity and warehouse performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of warehouse experience including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Good leadership and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English is required.
