Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Transportation Manager with 1215 years of experience to join our Traffic Engineering and Strategic Advisory Business Unit in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will be a degree-qualified professional with strong expertise in transport planning and traffic engineering within the Middle East region.

Your role

• Lead and manage traffic engineering projects from planning through execution ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Design analyze and optimize traffic control systems including signals signage and road network layouts.
• Conduct traffic studies simulations and data analysis to enhance traffic flow efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement traffic management strategies and policies aligned with project and client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including urban planning construction and government agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local regional and national traffic regulations and standards.
• Monitor project timelines budgets and deliverables ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide leadership mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Stay updated on advancements in smart mobility ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) and emerging transportation technologies.

About you

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering Transportation Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1215 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Strong proficiency in traffic modeling tools such as Aimsun VISSIM Synchro or similar platforms.
• In-depth understanding of traffic regulations safety standards and regional guidelines.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Experience with ITS smart mobility solutions and sustainable transportation initiatives.
