Senior Sales Manager

The Senior Sales Manager will drive revenue growth and lead the sales strategy for the Saudi Maritime and Logistics Congress focusing on lead generation client engagement and building a strong sales pipeline.

In this role you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams representing Tahaluf at industry events and delivering high-quality reporting to relevant stakeholders while ensuring a seamless experience for exhibitors.

• Sales Planning and Execution:

  • Build and execute the sales plan for a new launch event.
  • Achieve personal and event revenue targets independently with a focus on lead sourcing lead generation and building a robust sales pipeline.

• Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Conduct regular client meetings (face-to-face phone and email) to understand their challenges and guide them through the exhibitor process.
  • Identify and engage with new prospects through cold outreach and social selling ensuring a balance between in-person and virtual interactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including government partners ensuring a high standard of representation for the business
  • Guide exhibitors through the sales process ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

• Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to design and execute campaigns that generate inquiries and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with event delivery teams to ensure seamless event execution.

• Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

  • Visit competitor events to stay informed about industry trends and identify opportunities for differentiation in a highly competitive sector. 

• Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts and analysis to management including risks opportunities wins and losses.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records pipelines and account plans in CRM.

Qualifications :

Experience and Skills:

• Proven track record in a Senior Sales Manager or similar role with experience in exhibition events and solutions-based B2B sales.
• Demonstrable success in new business development and account management.
• Strong network of clients in at least one market/sector with experience working with government partners and understanding the approach required.
• Experience in over-the-phone selling with the ability to develop in-person sales skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to create and deliver professional presentations.
