Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Riyadh Saudi this pivotal role you will leverage your extensive expertise in quantity surveying cost management and project delivery to drive successful project outcomes. As a senior professional you will work independently on complex assignments while providing strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Your analytical mindset combined with your collaborative approach will be instrumental in ensuring accurate cost estimation efficient resource allocation and transparent project communication across all stakeholders.

  • Conduct comprehensive surveys and measurements to ascertain the locations of natural features and human-made structures on the earths surface underground and underwater utilizing advanced electronic distance-measuring equipment and surveying instruments
  • Operate and manage land-information computer systems performing critical tasks such as data storage system inquiries and generation of detailed plots and reports
  • Review and analyze information from survey teams regarding measurement of distances directions angles between points and elevation data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Research legal records and historical boundary documentation to identify evidence of previous boundaries and determine precise location of boundary lines
  • Record survey results with meticulous attention to detail verify data accuracy and prepare comprehensive plots maps and technical reports for stakeholder review
  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs cost estimates and budget forecasts for construction projects ensuring alignment with project scope and client requirements
  • Manage procurement processes analyze tender documents and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize project value
  • Mentor and supervise junior quantity surveyors and survey technicians providing constructive feedback and fostering professional development
  • Collaborate with project managers architects engineers and clients to resolve discrepancies manage variations and maintain transparent communication throughout project lifecycle
  • Analyze project performance data and prepare insightful reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with industry standards regulatory requirements and emerging technologies in quantity surveying and construction management

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying cost management or related construction disciplines
  • Proven experience with RTA (Roads and Transportation Authority) projects in the Middle East region
  • Prior RTA Approval or equivalent professional recognition (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency with quantity surveying software CAD applications and land-information management systems
  • Strong knowledge of construction cost estimation budgeting and financial forecasting methodologies
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts procurement processes and commercial management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work on complex multi-faceted projects
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities with proven capability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor supervise and develop junior team members
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Full professional understanding of quantity surveying specialization with ability to provide expert guidance on diverse project scopes
  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Professional certification or membership with recognized quantity surveying bodies (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction standards regulations and local market practices (preferred)
