The Opportunity

As a Presales Solution Architect Salesforce youll act as the technical seller and trusted advisor in strategic enterprise engagements across Salesforces ecosystem including Sales Service Marketing Experience and Data Clouds.

Youll partner closely with Horizontals sales and delivery teams to lead pre-sales define cross-cloud architectures and translate business objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

Youll balance 50% sales and strategy with 50% technical delivery oversight owning and co-ordinating the full solution lifecycle from pre-sale to client success.

What Youll Do

  • Lead solution design during new business pursuits working hand-in-hand with Sales to shape deals and position Horizontal as the preferred Salesforce partner.
  • Translate complex business challenges into cross-cloud Salesforce solutions (Sales Service Experience Marketing Data Analytics and Industry Clouds).
  • Conduct discovery and architecture workshops with C-level and senior stakeholders identifying transformation opportunities and value realization paths.
  • Craft technical solution narratives and visual architectures for RFPs and client presentations.
  • Clearly articulate Horizontal Digitals Salesforce capabilities offerings and differentiators through demos proposals and proof-of-concepts.
  • Support go-to-market (GTM) campaigns and practice growth through thought leadership and enablement on emerging Salesforce technologies.
  • Serve as a bridge between pre-sales and delivery ensuring the proposed architecture is achievable scalable and outcome-driven.
  • Collaborate with Technical Architects Data Architects and Integration teams to align solution components and reduce risk.
  • Guide clients through best practices balancing innovation with operational stability.

What You Bring

  • 7 years of client-facing consulting and/or pre-sales experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Proven track record in solutioning and selling multi-cloud Salesforce transformations (Marketing Cloud Sales/Service Cloud Experience Cloud Data Cloud CRM Analytics etc.).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to engage C-level executives in outcome-driven discussions.
  • Salesforce certifications across Sales Service or Marketing Cloud (Consultant or Architect level preferred).
  • Strong communication skills capable of simplifying technical complexity and telling compelling solution stories.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset proactive adaptable and energized by fast-paced high-impact client work.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
