KBR is looking for Safety officer to carry out Safety inspection to equipment tools and working conditions to ensure safety of workers engaged in Oil & Gas Facilities
Responsibilities:
- Inspects equipment tools and working conditions to ensure safety of workers engaged in Oil & Gas Facilities: Inspects safety belts ladders ropes rubber goods and tools and replaces those not meeting safety requirements.
- Observes crews at work and reports laxity in safety precautions such as failure to use goggles rubber gloves and other safety devices.
- Examines conditions of ditches and tunnels and recommends use of braces to prevent cave-ins endangering workers. Investigates accidents to determine causes and devises preventive measures. May instruct workers in use of safety equipment and safe work methods.
- Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures.
- Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions
- Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years experience in Oil & Gas maintenance High School.
- Minimum 6 years experience in Oil & Gas maintenance Diploma.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to safety
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skill
- Proven leadership skills with large organizations
- Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
- Strategic management skills
