Job Summary
- Providing an oversight for development review and monitoring of project schedules and the master program schedule incorporating the individual package schedulesÂ
Developing and managing project reporting formats and proceduresÂ
Developing and managing the system structure and tools for document management systemsÂ
Providing recommendations to manage project risks and improve the financial performance of the projectÂ
Supporting the project team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes procedures and systemsÂ
Interfacing with the Clients attending regular meetings and providing statistical reportsÂ
Providing guidance and specialized assistance for issues related to project cost and timeÂ
Managing and coordinating the preparation and maintenance of budgets and cost estimatesÂ
Developing and maintaining status reports including schedule status financial analysis cost performance and earned value reportsÂ
Generating critical milestones for the construction stage through detailed discussions with the Project Manager and evaluation of interfaces Â
Monitoring and reporting the actual progress of the work versus the planned workÂ
Monitor actual production rates and compare with planÂ
Managing regular site inspections to assess contractors work progress based on approved scheduleÂ
Managing the assessment of the impact of design and construction changes and schedule slippages
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or electrical engineeringÂ
12 years experience in rail metro or related project experienceÂ
Recent success in a leadership or managerial role responsible for developing or managing cost schedules and project controls Â
Strong track record in planning and scheduling in the design and construction rail projectsÂ
Fully competent with Primavera (P6) planning scheduling and project control systemsÂ
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project scheduling softwareÂ
Excellent English written and oral communication skills to communicate with the client as well as technical and non-technical team membersÂ
 Ability to communicate clearly to conduct presentations to management and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionalsÂ
