Summary:
The Financial Manager / Chief Accountant role in Hail is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a growing retail and FMCG organization with multiple branches across Hail and Tabuk. This individual will ensure financial accuracy regulatory compliance and strategic financial planning across all locations. The role is essential to maintaining the companys financial health supporting business expansion and delivering actionable insights to senior management. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Saudi Arabias financial landscape particularly within the retail or hypermarket sector and demonstrate strong leadership technical proficiency and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting and financial activities across multiple hypermarket branches
Prepare monthly financial reports including profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow analyses
Lead budgeting forecasting financial planning and cash flow management initiatives
Ensure full compliance with VAT regulations ZATCA requirements and Saudi accounting standards
Monitor accounts payable receivable payroll reconciliations and general ledger management
Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain accurate audit-ready financial records
Analyze financial data to deliver performance insights and strategic recommendations
Develop and enforce accounting procedures and internal financial controls
Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure accuracy efficiency and adherence to standards
Manage inventory-related accounting and retail-specific financial reporting
Utilize ERP systems such as Odoo and support advanced reporting through Power BI
Collaborate with management and operational teams to align financial strategy with business goals
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Manager or Chief Accountant in Saudi Arabia
Proven experience in hypermarket retail supermarket FMCG or trading companies
In-depth knowledge of Saudi VAT regulations and ZATCA compliance requirements
Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and verbal)
Strong expertise in budgeting forecasting financial reporting and reconciliation processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
Experience with Odoo ERP system is highly advantageous
Familiarity with Power BI and financial reporting tools preferred
Demonstrated leadership communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
or MBA in Finance required
SOCPA registration preferred
Required Skills:
Qualification: MBA/PGDM from reputed B-school. Experience: 20 years in corporate sales institutional leasing or real estate investment. Requirements: Proven success in closing large deals and strong industry networks. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
