Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations in Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance with local regulations and efficient management of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity supporting strategic decision-making through analysis and ensuring adherence to ZATCA requirements including VAT filing and e-invoicing. The position offers a professional environment where independence accuracy and organizational excellence are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports including Profit & Loss Balance Sheets and Cash Flow statements
Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations including VAT filing and e-invoicing
Process payroll and calculate end-of-service benefits for employees
Monitor and reconcile receivables payables and bank accounts
Coordinate with external auditors during audit cycles
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation
Support management with budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
Valid transferable Iqama
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting practices
Experience with ERP systems and accounting software
In-depth understanding of Saudi tax regulations including VAT and compliance requirements
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in accounting within schools or educational institutions
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Immediate availability to join the team
