Repair Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Issue repair disposition (Machining Weld Coating inlays Pressure Test FATs) after D&I following all NOV local and global procedure.
• Issue repair Disposition of all NCR raised during repair process & perform RCA.
• Assist Vendors with Technical support during all repair process with NOV Equipments.
• Lead and assist the Repair Team during SPS and other major jobs.
• Identify and develop Vendors to repair of NOV Equipments Support Vendors for WPS Qualification.

Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:

• Improve efficiency with development of Tools / Instruments / New Equipments
• Identify and develop new vendors for repair process.
• Review QC inspection report.
• Assist QC team to develop &review SOW for repair.
• Assist Planning Team to finalize scope for quotes including BOM.
• Assist planning team to provide cost estimation of 3rd party repairs.
• Assist Purchase group to identify local source parts.
• Perform PIB checks during Repair process of equipment at all stages.
• Closely work with Shop Supervisors and provide necessary support.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all ARM Company and HSE policies and procedures

Education/Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree/Diploma in related field.

Experience Required:

• 3 Years Work Experience in Repair & Inspection of Drilling equipment
• Knowledge in Drilling Equipment Repair process.

Key Competencies & Skills:

• Well verse to read mechanical drawings electrical & hydraulic schematics.
• Computer & Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge.
• Verbal and written Communication.
• Knowledge in ERP & Tracker system.
• Basic Knowledge in cost estimation
