Job Summary
Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to provide support in the field of regional urban planning. The ideal candidate will assist in the development assessment and implementation of plans and policies that affect land use zoning public utilities community facilities housing and transportation within a specific region.
Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the development of comprehensive plans and programs for the use of land and physical facilities in towns cities counties and metropolitan areas.
- Providing support in the administration of government plans or policies affecting land use zoning public utilities community facilities housing or transportation.
- Collaborating with senior planners to assess the environmental economic and health issues of an area as it grows and changes.
- Conducting research and analysis to support planning initiatives such as transportation community resource access and land use.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports presentations and other materials to communicate planning proposals and recommendations.
- Bachelors degree in urban planning architucturegeography environmental science or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in geographic information system (GIS) software is a plus.
