Job Summary
The Purchase Manager is responsible for managing the hotels overall procurement function ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with hotel standards. The role oversees vendor management purchasing strategies inventory coordination and procurement processes to support smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with hotel operational requirements and annual budgets.
- Manage procurement of Food & Beverage supplies housekeeping materials engineering items guest supplies operating equipment and general consumables.
- Ensure timely availability of materials without affecting hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
- Review purchase requisitions and ensure approvals are obtained as per hotel policies and authorization limits.
- Source quality products from approved suppliers at competitive prices through effective negotiation and vendor evaluation.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors monitoring their performance against agreed service levels and quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing carrying costs and waste.
- Monitor procurement expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives to achieve departmental budget targets.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with hotel policies legal requirements and ethical standards.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities vendor performance and cost analysis for management review.
Qualifications :
- Saudi National
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Hotel Management Business Administration Commerce or a related field.
- Minimum 4-10 years of experience in hotel purchasing procurement or supply chain management.
- Previous experience in a reputed hotel resort or hospitality organization preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel procurement processes vendor management and cost control.
- Good understanding of F&B procurement quality standards and market sourcing.

- Experience in project coordination scheduling and document control.
- A proactive anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with Luxury standards.
- Experience is an asset
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Fluency in English and Arabic additional languages are a plus
