Job Summary

Our client is an established manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee its production facility and drive operational excellence across manufacturing engineering quality and maintenance functions. The organization is committed to maintaining high standards of safety productivity and customer satisfaction while supporting long-term business growth.

The Role

The Plant Manager will lead all plant operations ensuring production targets quality standards safety objectives and financial goals are consistently achieved. Reporting to senior leadership the successful candidate will provide strategic direction while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all manufacturing and plant operations.
  • Develop operational plans that support production and business objectives.
  • Monitor production efficiency quality safety and cost performance.
  • Oversee engineering maintenance production and warehouse operations.
  • Develop plant budgets and manage operational expenditure.
  • Ensure compliance with quality environmental and safety standards.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead capital investment and plant expansion projects.
  • Develop workforce capability through coaching and succession planning.
  • Build strong collaboration across Production Supply Chain Quality and Finance.
  • Prepare operational performance reports for executive management.
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence and employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or a related discipline.
  • 12 years of manufacturing experience including plant leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or Operational Excellence.
  • Experience managing large manufacturing teams.
  • Excellent leadership and financial management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE and quality systems.
  • MBA is considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required.
