Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing developing implementing and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards. The role requires hands-on experience in analyzing mechanical components executing engineering projects conducting inspections ensuring system reliability and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge problem-solving skills and expertise in handling mechanical operations within industrial construction manufacturing or oil & gas environments in Saudi Arabia.

• Design analyze and optimize mechanical systems components and equipment based on engineering requirements and project specifications.
  

• Prepare and review technical drawings mechanical layouts and documentation using engineering software and relevant tools.
  

• Conduct feasibility studies risk assessments and equipment sizing to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  

• Oversee installation testing commissioning and maintenance of mechanical systems and machinery.
  

• Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical issues evaluate root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  

• Collaborate with electrical civil fabrication and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  

• Conduct inspections quality checks and performance analysis to ensure compliance with mechanical and safety standards.
  

• Support procurement activities by evaluating technical specifications vendor proposals and material approvals.
  

• Prepare technical reports BOQs project schedules and progress documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  

• Ensure adherence to Saudi engineering regulations company policies and HSE requirements across all mechanical activities.
  

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design project execution maintenance or industrial operations.
  

• Experience working in sectors such as oil & gas manufacturing construction or heavy engineering is preferred.
  

• Knowledge of Saudi engineering standards and regulatory compliance will be an advantage.
  

• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles thermodynamics hydraulics and material science.
  

• Proficiency in designing and analyzing components using AutoCAD SolidWorks Ansys or similar software.
  

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings P&IDs technical specifications and manuals.
  

• Practical experience in mechanical installation commissioning preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  

• Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  

• Strong communication documentation and project coordination skills.
  

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks within project timelines.
