Job Summary
As a Cataloging Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy consistency and completeness of master data within our clients SAP MDG environments. You will play a crucial role in maintaining data quality improving data governance and supporting business processes through effective cataloging practices.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement data cataloging strategies within SAP MDG.
* Analyze and interpret business requirements to define data standards and specifications.
* Create and maintain material master data vendor master data and other relevant master data objects.
* Utilize SAP MDG functionalities for data validation enrichment and governance.
* Perform data cleansing and data migration activities (is a plus).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and alignment.
* Develop and maintain documentation related to data cataloging processes and procedures particularly in Saudi Aramco standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues related to Spare Part Data Package (SPDP).
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and efficiency.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in data cataloging and master data management.
* Strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
* Proficiency in creating and maintaining material master data vendor master data and other master data objects.
* Experience with data cleansing data migration and data validation techniques (is a plus).
* Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
