Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage 3D BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing fire protection and pumping systems.
  • Coordinate mechanical models with architectural structural and other MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
  • Prepare construction drawings schematics and schedules directly from BIM models for fabrication and site installation.
  • Perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools and support resolution of design conflicts.
  • Participate in coordination workshops design reviews and interface meetings with engineering construction and client teams.
  • Ensure mechanical models comply with project BIM standards LOD requirements and BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Maintain proper version control and documentation of all models and deliverables.
  • Support constructability reviews and provide technical input during design and pre-construction phases.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Building Services or related discipline.
  • Minimum 56 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP AutoCAD MEP and Navisworks Manage.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC plumbing fire protection and pumping systems.
  • Experience in multi-discipline coordination for infrastructure or building projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards (ISO 19650) BEP and collaboration workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • GCC project experience is an advantage.
