Marketing Director
Job Summary
The Marketing Director will lead and manage the Marketing Department for a leading holding group client reporting directly to the Group CEO.
The role is responsible for developing and executing the Groups overall marketing strategy overseeing the marketing activities of approximately 12 brands strengthening their market positioning and increasing market share across the Groups different business sectors.
The position will also lead a marketing team of approximately 12 employees and ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with the Groups strategic commercial and operational objectives.
The role requires a strong and capable decision-maker who can lead the department effectively and independently.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the comprehensive marketing strategy for the Holding Group and its subsidiaries.
- Develop annual marketing plans oversee their implementation and evaluate results against approved objectives and KPIs.
- Manage the Groups marketing department and lead develop and evaluate the performance of the marketing team.
- Manage the marketing requirements and strategies of approximately 12 brands across the Groups different sectors.
- Conduct and oversee market research competitor analysis and industry trend assessments to identify growth and market-expansion opportunities.
- Lead the Groups brand strategy strengthen brand identity and market positioning and ensure consistent messaging and marketing standards across all companies and communication channels.
- Oversee all marketing advertising and digital campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness and return on investment.
- Oversee digital marketing strategies digital platforms social media channels and the use of data analytics to improve marketing performance.
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget allocate resources across campaigns and projects and ensure efficient expenditure.
- Collaborate with executive management and the Groups business units to align marketing initiatives with operational commercial and corporate objectives.
- Build and manage relationships with media organizations advertising agencies public-relations firms digital-marketing agencies business partners investors key clients and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts with advertising agencies marketing service providers and suppliers to achieve the best terms and service quality.
- Prepare and present periodic marketing reports performance analysis key metrics and strategic recommendations to executive management.
- Represent the Group at conferences exhibitions forums and relevant local and international industry events.
- Oversee the Groups Corporate Social Responsibility and community-engagement programs and develop initiatives that strengthen its social impact and corporate reputation.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field; a masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven experience in leading and managing marketing teams.
- Previous experience managing multiple brands.
- Experience across multiple sectors is preferred particularly in at least two of the following areas: Hospitality Restaurants Retail and Real Estate.
- Advanced training in digital marketing strategies brand management or market analysis is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic and English both written and spoken is required.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree (Engineering preferred - Mechanical is a plus) Minimum 10 years of experience in QHSE including at least 4 years in a managerial role Mandatory certifications: NEBOSH OSHA ISO 45001 Proven experience in manpower-intensive industries (e.g. Construction Facilities Management Manpower Services) Strong experience managing multi-site operations Experience in internal and external audits (ISO / certification bodies) Strong knowledge of QHSE systems compliance and risk management Experience in training induction and safety awareness programs Fluency in English (spoken and written) Experience in environments with accommodations/workforce camps is a plus
