The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the maintenance function across the plant ensuring all critical equipment production-related equipment and supporting assets are maintained safely and effectively.
The role includes implementing and updating preventive maintenance programs managing breakdowns overseeing maintenance staff ensuring availability of critical spare parts and coordinating with Production and QC departments to support smooth plant operations.
The role requires both hands-on technical involvement and administrative management as the Maintenance Manager will supervise a large team of engineers supervisors and technicians while also handling planning reporting maintenance cost tracking and operational support.
Responsibilities:
Ensure preventive maintenance programs are implemented for all plant critical equipment.
Update preventive maintenance plans based on equipment history supplier recommendations and equipment performance.
Coordinate with the Production Head and QC Head for maintenance of equipment related to Production and QC departments.
Ensure equipment can be operated safely and effectively.
Define and maintain minimum stock levels of spare parts for all critical equipment before breakdowns occur.
Attend project planning and management review meetings.
Ensure logistics-related assets such as vehicles and forklifts are in good working condition.
Support develop and initiate improved maintenance systems procedures and policies to enhance plant maintenance efficiency.
Assist maintenance staff in performing maintenance repairs renovations and operations of buildings equipment and systems.
Diagnose malfunctions and determine repair service and maintenance requirements for equipment and facilities.
Monitor maintenance staff performance and provide direction and support when needed.
Organize manage and track maintenance progress and costs in line with production and scheduling requirements.
Support the companys safety program in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Notify the IMTE controller regarding shifting equipment for repair or other purposes when calibration is required.
Manage hands-on technical maintenance activities as well as administrative and team management responsibilities.
Supervise the maintenance team including engineers supervisor and technicians.
Support plant operations by ensuring cranes compressors hydraulic systems gears and rotary equipment are properly maintained.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance management within a plant or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of engineering concepts including mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance planning breakdown management and troubleshooting.
Experience in maintaining gears rotary equipment cranes and compressors.
Strong ability to manage spare parts planning and critical stock levels.
Proven ability to manage a large maintenance team including engineers supervisors and technicians.
Strong communication planning reporting problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Previous experience in pipe manufacturing including spiral longitudinal or seamless pipes is preferred.
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia in a similar role is preferred.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Finance Manager is preferred. Experience in trading or manufacturing industry is preferred. Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field. Masters degree is preferred. Professional certification such as CA CPA or CMA is a plus. Knowledge of Zakat VAT taxation compliance and external/internal audit processes. Arabic and English language skills are required. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
