Job Summary
Location: King Abdullah Economic City
The Lead Plant Facilities Waste Management Utilities is responsible for leading and managing plant waste management utility operations to ensure the safe compliant efficient and sustainable handling of industrial hazardous non-hazardous domestic recyclable and operational waste streams across plant facilities.
The role supports operational readiness contractor performance environmental compliance cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with plant operational requirements and environmental sustainability standards.
This position oversees day-to-day waste management utility activities coordinates service providers ensures compliance with applicable regulations and HSE requirements and drives waste reduction and recycling programs across the facility.
Lead and supervise plant waste management utility operations including waste collection segregation storage recycling transportation treatment and disposal activities.
Ensure uninterrupted waste management services across all plant facilities and operational areas.
Monitor hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling labeling storage manifests disposal certificates and regulatory documentation.
Ensure all waste management activities comply with environmental regulations permits company policies and HSE standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify non-compliance issues unsafe practices and improvement opportunities.
Support regulatory inspections and maintain audit readiness at all times.
Lead corrective actions and incident follow-ups related to waste management operations.
Manage and monitor waste management contractors and service providers to ensure performance quality and contractual compliance.
Coordinate with Operations Facilities Utilities Maintenance HSE teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of waste management activities.
Review contractor reports invoices waste quantities disposal records and supporting documentation.
Promote sustainability initiatives waste minimization strategies and recycling programs across plant operations.
Support the development and implementation of waste management procedures KPIs reporting systems and inspection checklists.
Identify opportunities for process optimization cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
Support budgeting forecasting PR/PO preparation and contract management activities related to waste management services.
Monitor operational costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
Environmental Engineering
Civil Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Facilities Management
Or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
Waste management operations
Utilities or environmental services
Facilities management
Industrial or manufacturing plant operations
Experience within automotive manufacturing utilities or large-scale industrial facilities is preferred.
Strong experience in:

Environmental and regulatory compliance
Hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling
