Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Laundry Attendant to join our team in Riyadh Saudi this role you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our laundry operations. Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor you will be responsible for sorting processing and preparing linens while ensuring all health and safety protocols are consistently followed. Your commitment to quality and collaborative approach will directly contribute to the success of our housekeeping operations.

• Sort soiled guestroom and food & beverage linens as required filling containers and preparing them for pick-up with accurate labeling
• Identify and set aside misused or damaged linen for further investigation and reporting
• Report any foreign articles found within the linen or chute area (such as glass food cutlery or needles) to the Supervisor immediately
• Fold roll and organize clean towels bathrobes and room linens into containers for distribution by floor staff
• Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment at all times
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves
• Assist with washing towels and linens when required following all guidelines for chemical handling and proper lifting techniques
• Report any equipment malfunctions or potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor promptly
• Support other team members and assist with additional duties within the laundry area as needed
• Attend training courses and professional development sessions provided by the Housekeeping and Human Resources departments

Qualifications :

• High School diploma or vocational training certification
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in laundry operations or housekeeping (preferred)
• Basic understanding of the English language both written and verbal
• Physical capability to lift carry and handle items weighing up to 25 lbs regularly
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures consistently and accurately
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols and chemical handling best practices
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Reliability punctuality and strong work ethic
• Physical stamina and endurance for a fast-paced laundry environment
• Previous experience in luxury hotel housekeeping operations (preferred)
• Problem-solving ability and resilience in a dynamic work setting
