This role involves ensuring the efficient and sustainable management of water resources maintaining irrigation infrastructure and leading a team of professionals to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for irrigation systems.
• Monitor and manage water usage to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
• Oversee the installation repair and maintenance of irrigation equipment.
• Coordinate with landscape architects and other stakeholders to ensure optimal irrigation practices.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of irrigation systems.
• Manage a team of technicians and support staff.
• Prepare and manage budgets for irrigation operations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to staff.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelors degree (BSc) in a relevant field (e.g. Agricultural Engineering Horticulture) from a recognized university with over 7 years of experience in irrigation management.
  • OR
  • Masters degree (MSc) in a relevant field from a recognized university with over 3 years of experience in irrigation management.
• Experience:
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance management of irrigation systems serving landscaped areas including lawns trees shrubs and groundcovers in sizeable sites.
  • Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems.
  • Proven experience in managing largescale irrigation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems water management and sustainable practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the latest irrigation technologies and practices.
• Experience in the Middle East region particularly in large urban projects.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
