Job Summary:

Responsible for performing duties as a Flight Instructor for non-rated crewmembers in the CH-47 Aircraft and supporting simulation device(s). Provide flight instruction to non-rated crewmembers on all flight tasks in accordance with the RSLFAC Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) Program of Instruction (POI) and Flight Training Guide (FTG). Conduct academic instruction in support of flight training on all applicable topics. Conduct preflight briefing post flight debriefing and after-action reviews (AAR) to ensure crewmembers have a thorough comprehension of the training conducted. Maintain flight training records in accordance with appropriate RSLFAC regulations and local guidance. Instruction may include any combination of Individual or Group instruction in an academic classroom environment and or aircraft or simulator. Provide instruction and support for the RSLFAC Gunnery program in the CH-47F. Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Train and evaluate Aviation CE FI and SIs in the CH-47FAircraft in accordance with the RSLFAC ATM and specific unit ATP guidelines.

Develop a non-rated crewmember Training Program in accordance with customer guidance.

Verify and confirm that all required flight training publications are current and complete.

Liaison with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity.

Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.

Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.

Support unit level staff of RSFLAC.

Supervise and coach subordinate managers routinely.

Determine staffing requirements interview hire new employees or oversee those personnel processes.

Act as a focal point for conflict resolution between employees and internal/external departments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have been qualified as a nonrated crewmember instructor (FI) or nonrated crewmember standardization instructor (SI).
  • Graduate of instruction from an authorized DOD Proponent School for MOS qualification related to the Mission Type and Design or completed an equivalency evaluation for the aircraft required.
  • Minimum of 150 total hours experience.
  • Prefer 50 hours as a FI or SI and have previously qualified and served in such capacity during military service required.
  • Able to pass a FI/SI evaluation as appropriate by a Standardization Instructor upon hire and annually thereafter.
  • Successfully pass the FAA Class II Flight Physical or a US Army Flight Physical upon hire and annually thereafter required.

Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.

Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally our program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
