Faculty Position in Histopathology

Job Summary
The College of Medicine invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Histopathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to undergraduate medical students contributing to the development of the pathology curriculum and conducting impactful research.
Education: Deliver lectures lead practical/laboratory sessions and facilitate Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Team-Based Learning (TBL) sessions in general and systemic pathology.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design review and updating of Histopathology modules assessment tools (including OSPE/OSCE) and learning resources.
Research: Conduct independent and collaborative research in Histopathology or related fields seeking external funding and publishing in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
Clinical Correlation: Bridge the gap between basic sciences and clinical practice by providing students with real-world diagnostic insights.
Mentorship: Supervise student research projects and provide academic advising and career mentorship.
Institutional Service: Participate in departmental committees quality assurance activities and accreditation processes (NCAAA).
Education: MD Histopathology or equivalent clinical fellowship (e.g. FRCPath American Board or Saudi Board in Histopathology ).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the university level.
Proven track record of research and publications in indexed journals (Scopus/Web of Science).
Experience with integrated medical curricula and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is highly preferred
