Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Nursing Emergency Room (ER) Accident & Emergency (A&E) Trauma Critical Care Acute Care or related specialties.
  • Experience in emergency departments trauma centers urgent care units critical care settings or high-acuity patient care is preferred.
  • Dataflow verification is mandatory.
  • Saudi nursing license (SCFHS) is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for emergency and trauma patients.
  • Provide immediate and effective nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses injuries and life-threatening conditions.
  • Perform rapid patient assessments and triage according to the severity of medical conditions.
  • Assist physicians during emergency procedures resuscitations trauma management and critical interventions.
  • Monitor patients conditions vital signs cardiac rhythms and responses to treatment ensuring prompt recognition of clinical deterioration.
  • Administer prescribed medications intravenous therapies blood products and emergency treatments safely and accurately.
  • Operate and monitor emergency medical equipment including cardiac monitors defibrillators and ventilators.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies cardiac arrests and trauma activations.
  • Collaborate with emergency physicians surgeons anesthetists paramedics and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses treatment plans discharge instructions and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records nursing documentation and treatment charts.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention patient safety and quality care standards.
  • Participate in patient transfers admissions and discharge planning as appropriate.
  • Promote patient dignity privacy and emotional well-being throughout the care journey.

Additional Requirements

  • Current certifications such as BLS ACLS PALS TNCC or equivalent are preferred.
