Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installing inspecting maintaining troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the companys food and beverage facilities hospitality operations and wedding/event hall. The role ensures that all electrical installations operate safely efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards to support uninterrupted business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install maintain and repair electrical wiring lighting systems power distribution panels switches sockets and electrical equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems in kitchens restaurants banquet halls offices storage areas and other facilities.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize operational downtime.
  • Inspect electrical systems regularly to ensure compliance with safety standards and local electrical codes.
  • Maintain and repair emergency lighting systems backup power systems and electrical control panels.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of electrical requirements for weddings conferences and special events.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance team members to complete repair and improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records inspection reports and work orders.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests during business operations and events.
  • Ensure proper use of electrical tools equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow company health safety and food safety procedures at all times.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance electrical system reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Valid electrician license or certification (where required by local regulations).
  • Minimum of 23 years of experience in electrical maintenance preferably within hospitality food and beverage hotels or event venues.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems control panels motors lighting and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical diagrams.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays when required.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting are an advantage.
