Electrical Engineer

Our client is a leading industrial organization with a strong focus on operational reliability and engineering excellence. As part of its continued investment in its facilities and infrastructure the company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support engineering operations capital projects and preventive maintenance initiatives while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

The Role

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design maintenance troubleshooting and continuous improvement of electrical systems across the organizations operations. Working closely with Operations Maintenance and Project teams the successful candidate will ensure equipment reliability regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design review and maintain electrical systems and installations.
• Support commissioning testing and startup activities for new equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance planning for electrical assets.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment procurement.
• Review engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors during installation and maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports maintenance documentation and engineering records.
• Support capital improvement and modernization projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4 years of electrical engineering experience within industrial manufacturing utilities or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems motors switchgear and protection systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD ETAP or similar engineering software is preferred.
• Knowledge of international electrical standards.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Professional engineering registration is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic would be an advantage.
