Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer (Design) to join our engineering consultancy team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and delivering electrical engineering design activities across various projects ensuring that designs comply with applicable codes standards client requirements and project specifications.

This position is ideal for an engineer with solid electrical design and consultancy experience strong technical skills and good English communication abilities who is available to join immediately.

• Prepare review and develop electrical engineering designs drawings calculations and technical documentation.
  
• Design electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
  
• Develop and review single-line diagrams (SLDs) load schedules cable sizing voltage drop calculations lighting power and other electrical design deliverables.
  
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural civil mechanical and other engineering disciplines.
  
• Review shop drawings material submittals technical submissions and other project-related documents.
  
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Saudi regulations international standards and client requirements.
  
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical solutions to engineering issues.
  
• Coordinate with project teams clients contractors and other stakeholders when required.
  
• Assist in resolving technical design and coordination issues during project execution.
  
• Maintain quality and accuracy of engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with project schedules.
  
• Perform other electrical engineering and design-related duties as assigned.
  

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  
• Minimum 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia.
  
• At least 2 years of experience working with an Engineering Consultancy.
  
• Strong experience in electrical engineering design and preparation/review of technical deliverables.
  
• Good knowledge of applicable Saudi and international electrical codes and standards.
  
• Proficiency in relevant engineering/design software such as AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
  
• Good English communication and technical writing skills.
  
• Strong coordination analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  
• Must be available to join immediately.
  

• Previous experience working on consultancy projects in Saudi Arabia.
  
• Experience with major building commercial hospitality infrastructure or mixed-use projects.
  
• Familiarity with Saudi authority requirements and project standards.
  
• Professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is must.
