Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage 3D BIM models for electrical systems including LV (Low Voltage) MV (Medium Voltage) and substations.
  • Model and coordinate ELV systems such as CCTV telecom fire alarm access control and public address systems.
  • Integrate electrical models with architectural structural and other MEP disciplines ensuring clash-free designs.
  • Prepare drawings schematics and schedules directly from BIM models for construction installation and fabrication.
  • Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.
  • Support coordination workshops interface reviews and technical meetings with engineering construction and client teams.
  • Ensure compliance with project BIM standards LOD requirements and BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Maintain proper version control and documentation of all models and deliverables.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 36 years of experience in electrical BIM modeling.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage for model integration and clash detection.
  • Strong understanding of LV/MV systems substations and ELV systems.
  • Experience in multi-discipline coordination within building or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards ISO 19650 and BEP workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • GCC or large-scale infrastructure project experience is preferred.
