Description:
The Support Operations Officer (SPO) serves as the principal integrator for logistics and sustainment operations supporting the Ministry of National Guard (MNG) Aviation Training and Technical Support Services (ATSS) Program. The position synchronizes supply chain management maintenance support transportation procurement inventory management and operational planning to ensure continuous aviation readiness across supported locations. The SPO serves as the primary coordination point between maintenance logistics customers and commercial suppliers to maximize aircraft availability and mission effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration Aviation Management or a related field (masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 810 years of progressively responsible experience in aviation logistics supply chain management or military sustainment operations.
- Experience supporting rotary-wing aviation programs is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional logistics teams in a government or defense contractor environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply support transportation inventory management procurement forecasting and maintenance support operations.
- Experience with ERP systems inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical organizational leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and base access.
- Valid US Drivers license
Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
