Coating Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Coating Application in accordance with approved work instructions process standards and engineering requirements.
• PerformMask for Coatingin accordance with approved work instructions and process specifications if required.
• Read and interpret work instructions and quality forms to ensure accurate coating application.
• Record and maintain accurate process and measurement data as required.
• Use coating equipment weighing devices fixtures and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect parts before and after coating processes to ensure conformance to quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work area in accordance with5S standards.
• Identify and communicate opportunities forcontinuous improvementin safety quality cycle time flow and waste reduction.
• Contribute to team efforts that improve line performance operational efficiency and overall shop productivity.
• Use shop floor systems and interfaces such as ELM and SmartShop as required.
• Comply with company quality policies safety requirements applicable procedures and standard work.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma technical college degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Knowledge and experience in a technician manufacturing coating or industrial role.

Desired characteristics

• Min 2 years experience withThermal Barrier Coating processes.
• Participating in problem solving or process improvement activities.
• Min 2 years experience working with gas turbine components or other precision aerospace/industrial parts.
