Civil Estimation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Estimation Engineer to join reputed industrial construction projects in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years experience in civil estimation particularly for equipment foundations precast structures and electrical substation construction. Gulf experience especially in Saudi Arabia will be strongly preferred.

• Analyze project drawings specifications and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil works.
  

• Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns for foundations structural elements precast works and civil utilities.
  

• Conduct site visits if necessary to gather information for accurate estimation.
  

• Collaborate with engineering procurement and project management teams to align estimates with project execution plans.
  

• Monitor material costs labor rates and equipment pricing to ensure competitive bidding.
  

• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
  

• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bids.
  

• Maintain and update a database of unit rates material prices and subcontractor quotations.
  

• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations for civil works to support accurate cost assessments.
  

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  

• 8 to 10 years of professional experience in civil estimation.
  

• Strong knowledge of industrial civil works such as equipment foundations precast foundations and substation projects.
  

• Proficient in estimation software such as Candy PlanSwift CostX or MS Excel-based estimation tools.
  

• Ability to interpret civil drawings specifications and project documents.
  

• Excellent analytical numerical and communication skills.
  

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies material specifications and labor productivity norms.
  

• Gulf/Saudi experience in substation construction or industrial civil projects is highly preferred.
