Civil Engineer

Our client is an established engineering organization seeking a Civil Engineer to support the planning design and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. The Role

The Civil Engineer will provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle ensuring engineering activities comply with project specifications regulatory requirements and quality standards. Working closely with project teams consultants and contractors the successful candidate will contribute to the successful delivery of engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering designs and technical drawings.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assessments.
• Coordinate with consultants contractors and project stakeholders.
• Review engineering calculations and technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress and support schedule achievement.
• Identify engineering risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations.
• Support material selection and technical procurement activities.
• Prepare engineering reports and project documentation.
• Participate in project commissioning and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4 years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and engineering standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or related engineering software.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Professional engineering registration is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required.
