Job Summary

On behalf of our client we are looking for an Assistant Consultant Family Medicine

job summary:

Provide assistant consultant-level Family Medicine care for home healthcare patients through comprehensive assessments diagnosis treatment planning preventive care chronic disease management telemedicine consultations and coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes improve care quality and reduce avoidable hospital readmissions

Responsibilities & Duties:



1- Patient Assessment & Clinical Management

Conduct comprehensive medical assessments through home visits and virtual consultations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions according to evidence-based clinical practices.
Develop and implement personalized care plans including medication management referrals and lifestyle modifications.
Identify high-risk patients and provide timely interventions to prevent complications and hospital readmissions.
Educate patients and their families/caregivers regarding medical conditions treatment plans and preventive care.
Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.

2- Quality Assurance & Clinical Compliance

Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines healthcare regulations accreditation standards and organizational policies.
Participate in clinical audits quality improvement initiatives and patient care enhancement programs.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and prepare reports required for audits and inspections.
Promote safe ethical and professional clinical practices within the healthcare team.

3- Professional Development & Clinical Education

Participate in medical education sessions case discussions and clinical training activities.
Provide clinical guidance mentorship and support to medical staff.
Contribute to the development of clinical pathways care protocols and patient education materials.
Maintain continuous professional development through conferences workshops and continuing medical education (CME) activities.

4- Health Information System (HIS) & Documentation

Utilize HIS platforms for patient records electronic medical records (EHR) and virtual consultations.
Ensure complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with MOH regulations and organizational standards.
Participate in HIS training programs and collaborate with IT teams to resolve system-related issues.

5- Patient Safety & Satisfaction

Implement patient safety protocols and ensure compliance with clinical safety standards.
Identify report and escalate patient safety risks incidents and adverse events.
Maintain effective communication with patients and caregivers to address concerns and improve patient experience.
Monitor patient feedback and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing satisfaction and care outcomes.

6- Healthcare Team Collaboration

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
Facilitate communication between healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and care plans.
Support timely referrals and escalation of care when required.
Promote teamwork accountability and continuous improvement within the home healthcare environment.



Requirements
  • Saudi Female.
  • Medical degree (MD) with completed Family Medicine Residency.
  • SCFHS registration as a Family Medicine Senior Registrar.
  • 13 years of experience in Family Medicine or related fields.
  • Experience in home healthcare primary care or telemedicine is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Health Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Strong clinical judgment communication and patient care skills.
  • Excellent ability to coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Experience in chronic disease management preventive care and home healthcare services is an advantage.



Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. 24 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management. Experience in ERP systems and inventory operations. Knowledge of FEFO/FIFO principles and expiry tracking. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication skills in Arabic and English. Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is preferred.
