The Agronomist is responsible for ensuring that samples are collected prepared tested and documented in a timely and accurate manner to support quality-related activities. The role focuses on conducting sample testing according to testing guidelines recording test results maintaining proper documentation and ensuring that testing instruments are clean and operating efficiently. The Agronomist reports to the Senior Agronomist and works within the Quality Department in Al Kharj.
Responsibilities:
Collect and prepare samples in accordance with the required testing guidelines.
Ensure samples are prepared in a timely manner to support testing activities.
Conduct various tests on samples as required.
Ensure test results are accurately noted and recorded.
Maintain proper documentation for sample preparation and test results.
Ensure all required documents related to samples and testing are available.
Maintain cleanliness of the instruments used for testing.
Ensure testing instruments are operating efficiently and remain in working condition.
Work closely with internal team members including the Laboratory Supervisor Senior Agronomist Technicians Store Assistant and Laboratory Assistant as required.
Requirements
Educational Qualification / Professional Certifications
Diploma in Agriculture or related area.
Professional Experience
Two years of experience in agronomy.
Competencies
Good written and spoken English.
Good team player.
Positive attitude.
Required Skills:
Educational Qualification / Professional Certifications Bachelors degree in Business Management. Certification in Agriculture or Horticulture Business Management. Professional Experience Minimum 7 years of experience in managing agriculture or horticulture-based farming operations in a medium-sized organization. Minimum 3 years of experience in Food Industry. Other Qualifications Well versed with computer operations. Driving License. Competencies People Management able to manage multinational workforce. Knowledge of International Food Quality and Safety standards. Sound knowledge of budgeting and managing operations. Excellent communication skills. Planning and organizing skills. Business acumen.
