Job Summary
- Install maintain and repair air conditioning ventilation and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on HVAC equipment and control systems.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize system performance and reliability.
- Inspect equipment and identify worn or defective components for replacement.
- Test system performance including electrical mechanical and refrigerant components.
- Recharge refrigerant systems in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret technical manuals wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards during all work activities.
- Maintain accurate service reports maintenance records and equipment documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and equipment breakdowns.
- Coordinate with supervisors engineers and other maintenance personnel to complete work efficiently.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in HVAC/R is preferred.
- Valid HVAC/A/C Technician certification or license (where required).
- Proven experience in installing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems electrical controls refrigeration cycles and mechanical components.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams blueprints and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools testing equipment and hand tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
