IFRS 9 ECL Professional
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IFRS 9 ECL professionals for a banking project. The candidate will support Expected Credit Loss assessment financial reporting audit-related requirements and IFRS 9 compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss calculation review and reporting activities.
- Analyze credit risk data impairment models and ECL-related assumptions.
- Review staging PD LGD EAD macroeconomic overlays and model outputs.
- Coordinate with internal teams auditors finance risk and compliance departments.
- Ensure IFRS 9 calculations and reports are aligned with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare documentation working papers schedules and audit support files.
- Identify gaps validate data accuracy and recommend process improvements.
- Support month-end quarter-end or project-based financial reporting requirements.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in banking audit finance or credit risk.
- Strong hands-on experience in IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL).
- Prior audit experience is mandatory.
- Must be ACCA / CPA qualified.
- Strong knowledge of banking financial reporting and impairment assessment.
- Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills.
- Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatar Residency Permit.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Required Skills:
