Strong hands-on background in Ab Initio, Talend, Snowflake, SQL, Unix and AWS, with experience in data warehousing, SCD Type 2, reconciliation and high-volume processing. <p>Lead a 5–6 member data engineering team, mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and work directly with the Project Lead/client on technical assignments.<br>
Design and implement end-to-end ETL pipelines for insurance claims using Ab Initio, Talend, Snowflake and MongoDB.<br>
Develop and enhance data warehouse workflows with incremental loading and SCD Type 2 processing; work with approximately 15 staging tables, 15 target tables and 15 supporting views.<br>
Build a separate data product that combines active records from the data warehouse with corresponding new/updated claims from another database, using full-load processing of active records.<br>
Create and enhance ETL flows within an existing generic framework, independently modifying and building flows to meet project requirements.<br>
Implement data validation and reconciliation using before/after record counts and an audit table tracking inserted and updated records.<br>
Process 400K+ insurance claim records and 3.5M+ claim documents; implement parallel Unix processing where required to improve throughput.</p>
<p>Developed ETL pipelines using Talend and SQL for credit-card transaction data processing.<br>
Worked in a 4–5 member team supporting approximately 5–6 Talend jobs and data integration workflows.<br>
