The role consisted of being a senior analyst for the Medical division in the Gloucestershire foundation trust Business Intelligence team.

My duties involved;

Project managed the Service line Review dashboard which allows all divisions specialties to see monthly snapshots of their data.
- Team lead on the divisions reports and subscriptions which includes maintaining, creating and fixing reports
- Represent the Information Unit at monthly Clinical Boards and other meetings as appropriate. Participate in discussions.
- Responsible for high level analysis, interpretation, synthesis, and presentation of information reports.
- Interrogate large volumes of highly complex data, using a variety of robust statistical and analytical methods.

Responsible for delegating information streams within the department, which included implementing and adjust activity forecasting models.
Automated all divisions existing excel subscription report on to Tableau and SSRS to improve efficiency.
Worked independently using initiative with regard to workload, ensuing all statutory deadlines are met.
Worked on the implementation of the Badgernet system for the Maternity and Paediatrics specialities.

Help to provide technical and operational support to develop, maintain and produce high quality, comprehensive and timely information.
Assisted the Data Quality Lead and Data Quality Manager for the delivery of a regular programme of high quality and timely data quality reports.
Provided assistance to respond to queries from managers and data entry staff arising from data quality reports.
Developed and implemented data quality checks and controls to ensure data accuracy.

Analysed and summarised financial data to inform management decisions and evaluate business expenditures.
Prepared financial statements and presented results to Management.
Analysed and evaluated financial data to identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

Cashing up the till at the end of the day when the store is closing.
