Ensure health care professionals (i.e., nurses, OTs, PTs, SLPs, SWs, dieticians, etc.) were providing support to children, and reviewing professionals’ treatment plan<br>
Approving sessions recommended by health care professionals for children<br>
Coordinate with schools to ensure children were receiving adequate school-based health care support<br>

Responsible for providing short-term, solution-focused, and bereavement counseling to patients experiencing a stillbirth and/or other forms of grief related to childbirth; assisting families in planning funerals for stillbirth babies<br>
Providing support to patients who may have a history of depression and/or anxiety, have recently arrived in Canada, have limited supports, are younger mothers, etc.<br>
Provide support, resources, education to patients re: Post-Partum Depression<br>
Responsible for assessing for child protection concerns, and making necessary ‘duty to report’ consults with local Children’s Aid Societies<br>
